Petronas Twin Towers / Suria KLCC

Petronas Twin Towers
The  ICON  of Malaysia, a state-of-the-art structure standing tall at 451.9 meters ( 1483 ft ) sitting at the City Centre of Kuala Lumpur. The Petronas Twin Towers were the tallest architectural structure in the world from 1998 to 2004. But, this majestic twins still the tallest twin buildings in the world.

Both tower having 88 storey each, was built to house the Malaysian national oil company “Petronas”.Besides offices, is also the home for the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, shopping mall, restaurants and cinemas.

A skybridge of 2 storey tall links the two towers between 41st and 42nd floor, it facilitates movement, and functions as an escape route in case of emergencies. At the height of 170 meters ( 558 ft ) above ground, the skybridge is a good vantage point for Kuala Lumpur skyline. The skybridge is open to the public, visitors can purchase their ticket at the Concourse level, Petronas Twin Towers. Please take note that issuing of Tickets will start from 8.30am (tickets are limited and issued on a first come, first served basis).
Suria KLCC

Suria KLCC is located at the foot of the twin towers, its one of the biggest shopping mall in town. Suria KLCC shopping mall caters form  middle to luxury items, you can find most of the branded products. A verities of food and restaurants are here to pamper your taste buds.

Outside the Suria KLCC mall is the KLCC park, this park is designed to provide greenery to the twin towers and the surrounding area. A man made lake with water fountains which provide colourful Water Symphony for night visitors. A children's playground with a public pool and a good length of jogging track for you if you need to sweet it out.

Whether day time or night time, Petronas Twin towers / Suria KLCC always the favourite spot for tourists and our local Malaysian.

My favourite mode of transport is to hop onto the LRT Kelana Jaya Line and exit at KLCC station.
